Greg Porter, President and CEO of Arctic Energy has been educating end users on the technologies available to reduce energy consumption and increase efficiency for over 25 years. Mr. Porter is a Certified Energy Auditor, and holds a DGCP (Distributed Generation Certified Professional) certification. Greg also holds a LEED Green Associate accreditation, as well as a Capstone ASP certification. He is a University of Alaska-Fairbanks Alumni with a Bachelor’s degree in Communications-Mass Media, and holds a degree in Business from Notre Dame, Mendoza College of Business.

David Douty is Arctic Energy’s Sr. Systems Engineer, and worked as a senior field service engineer for Capstone for 9 years. He has been deployed all over the world in support of Capstone’s global fleet. David served honorably and meritoriously in the United States Navy as a Nuclear Machinists Mate, 2nd class, where he operated and maintained submarine nuclear propulsion plants, reactor controls, propulsion and power generation systems. Mr. Douty holds a bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Engineering.
David began work with Arctic Energy, Inc. in 2014, and is an integral part in Arctic Energy’s unique abilities.

Rebecca Porter is Arctic Energy’s Controller and the financial arm of our project management. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Alaska Anchorage, and has worked with Arctic Energy Inc. since 2012, and has helped many of our customers understand and implement the economics of their CHP and DG projects.

Chris Theriot is Arctic Energy’s Director of Sales Operations. Mr. Theriot worked in key roles for the Capstone Turbine Corporation for over 6 years, most notably as Regional Sales Manager for the United States and Canada. Additionally, as the Global Distributor Development Manager, Chris has an in-depth understanding of Capstone installations worldwide. Mr. Theriot possesses a wealth of knowledge about the Capstone products and their applications. With his Capstone Sales and Application Engineering background, he is a crucial part of our design team, as well as his ability to educate end users on their system’s operations. He is an Embry Riddle Aeronautical University Alumni and holds the rating of commercial pilot. Having his two boys grow up in a cleaner and greener world is what drives Chris’ passion to sell and implement the Capstone products for his customers.

John Phelps is a long time resident of Alaska and has a 35 year history of electronic systems and controls installation and operations. John joined the Arctic Energy team in 2022 and has brought his expertise in electronic systems installation to our experienced group. John is certified in many of our manufacturer’s operation and control systems design and is a Capstone Authorized Service Provider.
